WHY IT MATTERS
Plant-Based Materials
CHEWZ-it® TUtensils are made using plant-based resources, PLA, and other biopolymers as an alternative to conventional petroleum-based plastic cutlery.
BPI Certified Compostable
CHEWZ-it® TUtensils are certified for commercial composting and designed to meet applicable ASTM D6400 requirements under controlled composting conditions.
Two Utensils. One Design. Zero Plastic
A spoon and fork in one design means fewer separate disposable utensils are needed for everyday meals, helping cut down on unnecessary single-use pieces.

WHAT BPI CERTIFICATION MEANS
CHEWZ-it® TUtensils are BPI Certified Compostable. Meaning they have been tested to meet the applicable ASTM D6400 requirements for commercial composting.
Under the proper conditions, including controlled heat, moisture and microbial activity, certified compostable materials are designed to break down as part of the commercial composting process.
BPI Certification does not mean products are suitable for backyard composting.

COMPOSTABLE NEEDS THE RIGHT CONDITIONS
